Meet Dana

Dana Seddon, President and Managing Optician of Design Vision of the Berkshires, Inc., is a Berkshire County transplant. Although she was born in Danbury, CT, she was raised in Dallas, Texas. She met and married her husband, Pittsfield native Eric Seddon, while they were both on active duty in the Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama in 1994. They currently live in Cheshire with their 4 year old son who can often be seen sporting his sunglasses.  He knows how important sunglasses are for the health of his eyes.

Dana has continued her military career while also pursuing her career as an optician. She is a Massachusetts Registered Dispensing Optician and a member of the American Board of Opticianry with more than 15 years of experience in the optical field, 12 years of which has been in Berkshire County.

In Dana's military service, she is a flight engineer on the C-5 Galaxy airplane at Westover Air Reserve Base (WARB). And Dana was recently promoted to Master Sargeant and named Flight Engineer of the Month for the month of August, 2011.

Meet Dr. O'Brien

Dr. Michael O’Brien lives in Williamstown with his wife of 46 years, Eileen.  He has practiced Optometry since 1974 in Berkshire County and nearby Hampton County, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of St Anselm’s college in New Hampshire, the New England College of Optometry in Boston and the University of Missouri at St. Louis. After college, Dr. O’Brienserved in the United States Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Naval Flight Officer. He is the father of 4 and the grandfather of 7.
