Meet Dana

Dana Seddon, President and Managing Optician of Design Vision of the Berkshires, Inc., is a Berkshire County transplant. Although she was born in Danbury, CT, she was raised in Dallas, Texas. She met and married her husband, Pittsfield native Eric Seddon, while they were both on active duty in the Army at Fort Rucker, Alabama in 1994.

Dana has continued her military career while also pursuing her career as an optician. She is a Massachusetts Registered Dispensing Optician and a member of the American Board of Opticianry with more than 13 years of experience in the optical field, 10 years of which has been in Berkshire County.

In Dana's military service, she is a flight engineer on the C-5 Galaxy airplane at Westover Air Reserve Base (WARB). And Dana was recently promoted to Master Sargeant and named Flight Engineer of the Month for the month of August
